Garbage Men Haikus

Garbage Men Haikus

Collected from the deeper recesses of garbage men’s minds,
usually on Thursday mornings.

Broken Pink Big Wheel

Banana peel rims
Smelling like it was crapped out
A child’s toy no more

Pile of Trash Bags

Black pixels from space
On a canvas of blue, green
This picture sucks ass

Soggy Cardboard Box

Once a cheese pizza
Now a condo for rich ants
How much is the rent?

Getting Too Old for This Shit

Danny Glover’s right
My clothes hang like torn wrappers
Recycle me, please

Leaves in a Plastic Bag

Ready to decay
Trapped in a permanent cell
Suffocated death

Dog Shit

I am not deterred.
Over, around, through, beyond
You can’t waste my time.

Cigarette Butt

Tobacco Tree cries
Tears of addiction and shame
All I see are butts
